Aloha Friday - Comment Love

Hosted by Kailani at An Island Life, I am again going to ask an Aloha Friday question.

Per Kailani, "In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing heavy or too thought-provoking."

If you have your own blog, how does it make you feel when people leave comments? If you don't, what motivates you to leave a comment?

  1. I love to get comments on my blog and I do my best to respond to them by either visiting on their blog and commenting there or replying to their comment by email.

  2. I too love to receive comments. I'm not sure why because my blog is simply my journal and a record of my thoughts and feelings. I always try to respond to comments however sometime I am lacking. I do enjoy visiting other's blogs and commenting.

  3. I love to get comments. I feel sad when I don't lol so I try to make a comment to blogs I visit but if I can't find something to say then I don't leave one

  4. I enjoy getting comments on my blog so that I know who has visited. When you look at analytics, it is exciting to see high numbers but the numbers do not have personalities with them. The comments are the personalities who visit and make those numbers seem more real. I do my best to comment on the people's blog who left the comment for me.

  7. I like comments, gets you in touch with other people. That way I can visit their blogs as well if they have them.
    I used to lurk but now I leave comments on people blogs, unless I have left more than 5 comments and the person has never responded, in those cases I just lurk and don't care to get to know the person better.

  12. I write the Monday Meditations for the Bull Shoals Beacon. I have had one comment left so far. My personal blog has never had a comment. Think that no one reads it. but still i write. Aloha Friday sounds like a wonderful thing. I was Blessed to be able to go to school in Hilo and Hawaii is a wonderful place. Mahalo for your blog. Grace.
