Small & Mighty

Charlotte has a new word - heavy. She uses it when she tries to pick something up that is hard for her to lift. It is so cute to hear her little voice and see her strain to lift something that is as big as she is!

When I got this bottle of the new all Small & Mighty 96 loads she decided to pick it up for some reason. Maybe she wanted to help me carry it up the stairs? She is getting independent like that.

Well, once we got it upstairs, I put it to good use cleaning all of our vacation laundry. I wasn't surprised that it got my clothes clean, but I was impressed that it took so little to do so!     My biggest laundry struggle is my husband's work shirts. With his own business, he has purchased several "Columbia" shirts, and paid to have his logo sewn on. He works out in the field and gets so many different kinds of stains on them, I don't even what most of them are, or how to treat them effectively. Yet it is so important to keep them clean, usable, and professional looking. I often have to treat and wash them several times for some stains to come out. I have a front loading washer and have to use the low suds type detergent.

  3. My biggest laundry struggle is stains. I feel like I weekly deal with all manner of stains from ink to ketchup and more. My husband typically wears very nice clothes so it is important to make sure they aren't rendered useless by a stain.

  9. Vacation laundry??? Don't know what that is-LOL...maybe one day. What I deal with is EVERYDAY laundry, I have a husband who works two different law enforcement jobs with two different uniforms to wash, a four year old who thinks she can change her clothes three times a day and a soon to be two year old who leaves remnants of her day on her clothes (hehe)...so I could definitely put some free detergent to good use.

  12. My biggest laundry struggle is the messiest 5 year old on the face of the earth I am pretty sure. No matter what we do she ends up with it on her clothes. I finally went and bought her some t-shirts at Michaels on sale for $2.50 and some shorts on sale at Target for $3 so I don't care quite as much if they get ruined. As for vacation laundry - on our last vacation (almost 2 years ago boo hoo) same child then only 3 got chocolate on every single item of clothing she wore the whole trip I think. Chocolate is not the eaisest thing to get out and many of her shirts never came clean.

  13. My biggest laundry struggle is folding and putting stuff away before it starts to pile up. My husband asks if the "laundry fairies" are coming by for a visit if it has been a few days and the laundry is still sitting there. ; )

  14. Washing, drying, folding and putting laundry on hangers isn't that bad. I absolutely hate putting everything up. So I get my daughter and husband to do that for me!

  24. My biggest struggle is markers--my daughter somehow gets them all over her shirts when she's taking the lids off. I try to only buy washable markers, but somehow a dry erase or regular marker always finds its way onto her craft table and she uses it!
